Technical Requirements


LSE Space GmbH is looking for a Software Engineer (m/f) to work with LSE Space's Software Engineering Team in our headquarters’ office close to Munich/Germany to design, develop and test software for the space segment.

The core tasks of a Software Engineer are as follows:

  • Full lifecycle application development
  • Designing, coding and debugging applications
  • Software analysis and requirements analysis
  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis
  • Software modeling and simulation
  • Graphical user interface design
  • Software testing and quality assurance
  • Support, maintain and document software functionality
  • Integrate software with existing systems
  • Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
  • Maintain standards compliance


Academic Requirements

A University degree a University (or similar) degree in computer science, engineering, physics or similar discipline.

Specific Requirements

  • Good understanding of object-oriented design and analysis
  • Proficient in Java, knowledge of C++ and UML may be considered as a plus
  • Good knowledge of databases and SQL
  • System-minded and a team player
  • Able to work in an interdisciplinary team
  • Self-starter, able to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
