Our System Engineering Experience
|
During mission definition and preparation, the LSE engineers contribute up-to-date technical know-how and first class expertise in the following areas:
- Definition of Software Requirements
- Specification, Installation and Management of Telemetry and Telecommand and Display Databases
- Performance, Evaluation and Analysis of Testing
- Planning of Spacecraft Validation Tests and In-Orbit Commissioning Tasks
- Preparation and Performance of Training and Simulations
- Flight Operations Procedure Development and Validation
LSE System Engineering consultants provide systems and software engineering services for Spacecraft Monitoring and Control Systems. One of the company's activities is the continued involvement in the definition of new standards for Telecommand and Telemetry data handling through the CCSDS (Consultative Committee for Space Data Standards). LSE consultants have unique experience in this area. LSE continues to provide consultancy in this field.
One of LSE's unique capabilities is the ability to act as project manager/controller for both the technical and financial aspects of a project. When a customer's own in-house experience requires the procurement of outside assistance, LSE staff can act as independent consultants to ensure the correct and cost effective completion of space system projects. This approach guarantees the client a realistic view of progress, and supports effective risk management.
